and gas conveying as per IS1536, fittings as per IS 1538, “Kapilansh Centrifugal
“ branded cast Iron Soil Pipes and Fittings for Municipal waste, drainage and ventilation
as per IS 3989, centrifugally casted Cast Iron earthing electrodes branded as “KAPITRODETM
“, Cast Iron and Ductile Iron Manhole covers and cast Iron and alloy cast Iron castings
as per requirements and drawings.
Kapilansh is promoted by Mohta Family and is managed & run by a team of professionals,
from various fields and having practical exposure in the respective fields of marketing,
finance, production, legal system and Human resource development.
The Chronology
Mohta Family promoted Kapilansh Dhatu Udyog in 1988. The family was into the trade
of cloth since 1953. They started trading of cast Iron pipes in 1980s, and entered
into manufacturing field with the manufacturing and machining of cast Iron Double
Flanged Pipes under the banner of “tru form engineers”. The production of Cast Iron
Pipes by De-Lavaud Centrifugal casting process started in the Name Kapilansh Dhatu
Udyog Private Limited in 1990. We went through all kinds of problems from the statutory
bodies and labour unions and learnt our mistakes that kept them unsatisfied. We
then took steps to cope with the devils and turn them into angels of growth and
development. We thereby started regularly achieving quality in our products and
R&D in the process to make it better and be competitive. We added up and adopted
good industry practices. The transparency and approachability made all levels of
our team to make improvements and the improvements kept on coming to us from the
base to apex and we achieved making 80MM pipes of 5500MM length, which was not achieved
by else in the trade. Slowly we came up with a full-fledged foundry in order to
concentrate the efforts and on the quality assurance. Thus, we started concentrating
on the pipe production and thus quality, was the result of it.
The year 2004-05, saw the rising of a new sun for us, as we came up with a complete
range of Kapilansh Centrifugal Cast iron soil pipes and fittings as per IS: 3989,
better known globally as Municipal Pipes and fittings used for drainage, sewage
and ventilation and we mastered the intricacies of the trade which became our habit
by now.
We never ceased the research and development and introduced the long lasting and
reliable KAPITRODETM branded Cast Iron Earthing Electrodes. And got into the pioneering
a new dimension to the cast Iron Pipes Industry. Our efforts in making the users
aware of the products and their uses and the “fit and forget” reliability are now
bearing their fruits and are being en-cashed by all in and off the trade.
Still we were motivated by the competition and we surpassed them sportily and introduced
the hinged type Earth-pit covers and surface covers to keep the earthing installation
safe and sound and thereby ensuring protection to all electrical and electronic
appliances, computers and the most important “human and animal life”.
Now we have and are continuously developing the complete range of manhole covers
and Earth-pit covers to the best quality in commercial as well as hard core installation.
